Venue
The MRPM Conference will be held in two locations:
1) University of São Paulo (USP) – Ribeirão Preto (October, 26-29): Among the most prominent campuses of Brazil’s top-ranked university, featuring the beautiful Law School Auditorium as the proposed venue.
Ribeirão Preto is a vibrant city in the state of São Paulo, known for its strong academic and research environment, thriving economy, and rich cultural life. The city offers excellent infrastructure, a pleasant climate, and is home to one of the key campuses of the University of São Paulo (USP). Ribeirão Preto is also served by the Leite Lopes Airport, which offers regular flights to major Brazilian cities, making the city easily accessible.
International Guarulhos Airport, located in São Paulo, is Brazil's primary international gateway, serving as the main entry point for travelers from around the world. From there, convenient one-hour direct flights connect passengers to Ribeirão Preto Airport.
2) Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM) – Campinas (October, 30 - Participation is optional and based on registration): CNPEM is a multidisciplinary, open-access research center that supports Brazil’s National Science, Technology and Innovation System. It serves thousands of scientists, students, and R&D institutions every year. CNPEM is home to Sirius, one of the most advanced synchrotron light sources in the world, with beamlines that function like powerful microscopes, enabling the study of materials at the microscopic level.
Campinas is a major city in the state of São Paulo, recognized for its strong industrial base, renowned universities, and cutting-edge research centers. It is a hub for science, technology, and innovation in Brazil. The city is also home to Viracopos International Airport, one of the country’s most important airports, offering convenient access to both domestic and international destinations.
